苏定强，天文学家和光学工程专家。1936年6月生于上海。1959年毕业于南京大学天文系。现任南京天文光学技术研究所研究员、南京大学天文系教授、中国天文学会理事长、北京师范大学天文系兼职教授、南京理工大学名誉教授。曾当选IAU Commission9 主席，第8届、第9届全国人大代表。1991年当选中国科学院学部委员（院士）。
